This guide specifies the quality-related aspects of chemical testing laboratory rooms and proposes the basic requirements for qualified chemical testing laboratories. It is a technical document for chemical environmental management. This guide was proposed by the Science and Technology Standards Department of the State Environmental Protection Administration. The drafting unit of this guide is the Chemical Registration Center of the State Environmental Protection Administration. The State Environmental Protection Administration approved this guide on April 13, 2004. This guide is the first edition and will come into effect on June 1, 2004. The State Environmental Protection Administration is responsible for interpreting this guide.
