Content of the Book
This book is based on the New Vocabulary List for College English Teaching and the Basic Requirements for College English Teaching. We have selected the 4th-grade vocabulary marked in the list and the newly added 4th-grade words from the requirements, totaling 1,400 words. The 1,400 words are arranged into 14 weeks, with 100 words per week. The definitions of each word are strictly determined according to the syllabus, accompanied by classic examples. Words that have appeared in past exams are marked with their specific exam question locations. The appendix also includes a quick review of 1,285 4th-grade words, bringing the total word count in the book to 2,700. Additionally, the book provides 15 sets of past exam vocabulary questions for periodic quizzes to complement weekly memorization and consolidation.
