Content of the Book
This book is based on the New Vocabulary List for College English Teaching and the New Basic Requirements for College English Teaching. We have selected the 6th-grade vocabulary marked in the "Vocabulary List" and the newly added 6th-grade vocabulary from the "Basic Requirements," totaling 1,400 words. These 1,400 words are arranged into 14 weeks, with 100 words per week. The final week includes 312 frequently tested 4th-grade common words from past 6th-grade vocabulary exam questions. The book features a total of 1,700 words, with each word's meaning strictly determined according to the syllabus and accompanied by classic example sentences. Additionally, the book includes 15 sets of past 6th-grade vocabulary exam questions as periodic quizzes to complement weekly vocabulary memorization and consolidation.
