Features: This exercise book is compiled based on the Mathematical Methods in Physics course taught by the Physics Department of Peking University. It can be used as a reference for teaching in physics departments and majors of comprehensive universities and normal universities. The exercises in this book are arranged in the order of Guo Dunren's "Mathematical Methods in Physics," but for convenience of use, we have rearranged the exercises and created new titles. In terms of exercise selection, we focus on the basic requirements of this course and strive for conciseness. The repetition of exercises is not significant, and it does not involve the application of mathematical methods in physics in various fields of physics. A small number of special exercises are also included in this book, which are of certain difficulty but can be completely solved on the basis of truly mastering the course requirements. Such exercises can broaden students' horizons and help them deeply understand the basic content of the course. All calculation exercises in this book are provided with answers, but detailed solutions are not given, as we believe that providing answers has more disadvantages than advantages. Taking this opportunity, we also urge that no solutions in any form be compiled for this exercise book.
