Features: This book is supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and compiled under the leadership of the Bureau of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. The Fisheries Yearbook Editorial Office of the China Agricultural Press is responsible for editing and publishing. The yearbook is an authoritative reference tool reflecting the annual basic situation of China's fisheries, published annually. The data in the yearbook are up to the end of 2000, and the articles are mainly written by administrative personnel and professional technicians from various levels of fisheries administrative bodies, scientific research units, fishery colleges, and other departments. All articles are edited and revised by the Fisheries Yearbook Editorial Office and published after approval by the Bureau of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. Provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and planned special municipalities are arranged in the order of the national administrative divisions. All types of data and statistics do not include Taiwan Province and the Hong Kong and Macao regions. During the compilation process, the yearbook has received strong support from various levels of fisheries administrative departments and relevant units across the country.
