Author Introduction: Born in Dandong, a small city in Northeast China, and raised in Wuhan, a major city in Central China, the waters of the Yangtze River have cleansed my hair and feet. Graduated from the Hanyang Branch of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, I currently work at the General Office of the Hubei Provincial People's Government. Since 1995, I have been engaged in literary creation and have won several small awards. My collected essays include "Soul Soup: About Insights" and "My Lily Years." I am a member of the Hubei Provincial Writers' Association.
Ye Qingcheng says, "Nothing is softer, closer, or more cruel than underwear." This is about underwear, and it is also about love—about betrayal, about wounds, about numbness, about aging.
This book has a beige cover and light beige paper, with a sweet, glutinous rice-like aroma.
