Features: To meet the needs of a broad readership in learning and studying Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and the history of the Chinese Revolution, this Selected Works of Zhou Enlai was compiled and published. The collection is divided into two volumes: the first volume includes works written before the founding of the People's Republic of China, while the second volume includes works written after its founding. Comrade Zhou Enlai wrote a large number of articles, documents, letters, telegrams, and delivered many important speeches. Due to the harsh wartime conditions in the past, many documents from that time were not preserved. Now, we have made every effort to collect Comrade Zhou Enlai's writings and speech records, and only a portion of the most important works have been included in the collection. Many of them have not been publicly published before. The works included in the collection, whether publicly published during Comrade Zhou Enlai's lifetime or in manuscript form, are presented in their original form.
