Features: To fully implement the national education policy and the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, deepen educational and teaching reforms, promote quality-oriented education, and cultivate innovative talents that meet the requirements of the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the 21st century, we organized the original textbook editorial committee to write a teaching supplement to the "General Higher Education 'Fifteenth Five-Year' National Planning Textbooks (TCM Category) and the New Century National Higher Education TCM Colleges and Universities Planning Textbooks (Edition)." After the publication of these planning textbooks, we organized the original textbook editorial committee to write a supplementary teaching book—Exercises—aimed at enabling students to review, consolidate, and strengthen the knowledge they have learned in the form of exercises, as well as providing convenience for students to self-test their learning outcomes and prepare for exams. This set of exercises is to the 46 planning textbooks that have been published, and the scope of the exercises is consistent with the current national higher education TCM colleges and universities undergraduate teaching syllabus and the planning textbooks. The exercises cover all the knowledge points of the planning textbooks and emphasize the reinforcement of "basic knowledge, basic skills, and clinical practice" () and key content through varying question types. The content is arranged in accordance with the chapters and sections of the corresponding textbooks while also covering the question types of the National Medical Examination for Practicing Physicians. The questions are designed to be scientific, rigorous, and standardized, focusing on improving students' ability to analyze and solve problems. Clinical courses place greater emphasis on cultivating clinical skills. To facilitate students in comprehensively testing their learning outcomes, reference answers and answer analyses are provided after each chapter. The "Answer Analysis" not only helps students understand "what" but also "why," deepening their understanding of the textbook content, reinforcing learned knowledge, and further enhancing their cognitive abilities. At the end of the book, there are mock exams, including undergraduate A and B exams and mock exams for postgraduate entrance examinations, with three difficulty levels: "general, relatively difficult, and difficult." These are designed to help students self-test their learning outcomes and improve their exam-taking skills. This set of exercises is intended for use by undergraduate students, adult education students, candidates for the National Medical Examination for Practicing Physicians, and other individuals studying TCM, as a supplement to the textbooks for learning and exam preparation.
