Features: The writings included in this book were written by me between May 2003 and September 2004. Over the course of more than a year, I reflected deeply on the issues of economic transition and social equity. The questions of "for whom the reform is for" and "how the reform can continuously benefit the majority" were originally clear, yet they kept recurring in my mind. This compelled me to, while maintaining a focus on economic reform research, pay attention to and study certain socioeconomic issues. The articles included in this book are some of the results of my research in this area. As a researcher of reform, I hope to reflect the genuine sentiment of "writing in response to the times" through the publication of this book. I have been engaged in reform research and practical work in reform-related departments for 20 years. Over these two decades, I have maintained a strong interest in reform research and have always kept a passion for it. I have often said that being able to dedicate my most valuable years of life to this era's great cause of reform is nothing short of a blessing, and I am deeply grateful for it. It is from this sense of emotion and understanding that I will continue to pursue research on reform topics, striving to produce more research outcomes in the field of reform and offering them to the readers.
