The Rings of Reading: Milan Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being and Others

Features: Against the trend of vulgarity yet unable to eradicate it, the historically unchosen is now being definitively chosen. Is this a pointless ramble or a profound debate? Like a handful of certain writers, Kundera uses novels to speak without words, silence containing harsh truths, eloquence veiled in beautiful promises. Everything that has happened on earth has been rewritten countless times, yet no one has ever thought to verify what actually occurred. Human history is repeatedly rewritten, and people no longer know who they are.
