The entire Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City covers a vast area, with the Land itself spanning approximately 596,000 square meters. The scenic area blends traditional Lingnan cultural scenes with modern entertainment experiences, offering a variety of large rides and live stage performances. It is open to visitors of all ages; entry to the park does not require a mandatory ticket, while individual attractions may charge separately, and an all-inclusive pass is also available for unlimited access to the rides.

History and Culture

Guangzhou Sunac Land is a major cultural tourism project invested and built by Sunac China. As an important part of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City, it was officially opened to the public in June 2019 in Huadu District, Guangzhou. The project was initially conceived to create a large-scale cultural tourism complex in the Guangdong?Hong Kong?Macao Greater Bay Area, filling the gap in large theme parks in northern Guangzhou.

In terms of cultural content, the park deeply explores local Lingnan heritage, using Cantonese culture as its core design inspiration. The architecture, street scenes, and performances extensively draw from Lingnan historical stories, folk customs, and traditional crafts, transforming the streetscape and folklore of old Guangzhou into tangible scenic settings and shows. This allows visitors to experience the regional cultural characteristics of Lingnan while enjoying the rides, distinguishing the park from ordinary mechanical amusement parks. As a modern cultural attraction built in recent years, it does not possess ancient historical relics; its cultural expression is mainly presented through re?creation and staging of Lingnan folk traditions.

Main Attractions

Millennium Commercial Capital

This zone recreates an ancient Lingnan trading street scene, featuring arcade?style architecture typical of the region. It is lined with themed shops, snack stalls, and small street performances that evoke the bustling atmosphere of old Guangzhou’s market streets. It serves as the main pedestrian hub upon entering the park, connecting various themed zones, and is an ideal place for visitors to rest, buy souvenirs, and sample local Lingnan delicacies.

It boasts a large roller coaster, the "Twin Dragon Coaster," a dual?track ride that is the park’s signature attraction. The zone also features thematic landscapes that tell stories of ancient Nanyue. It is the area with the most high?thrill rides, perfect for visitors who love mechanical amusement devices.

Concentrating on Cantonese folk customs, this zone takes inspiration from Lingnan gardens and traditional folk tales. In addition to scenic walks, it features a large outdoor theatre that presents the live show Dreaming of Lingnan, a stage performance that vividly portrays Lingnan folk stories and customs. It is the park’s core performance venue, where visitors can enjoy theatrical productions that showcase the charm of Cantonese culture.

Dream Garden

Designed in a fairy?tale floral style with motifs of flowers, butterflies, and insects, this zone is mainly for all?age family entertainment and concentrates most of the children’s rides.
