Features: Following Han Han, another young writer has emerged, painting a marvelous scene for the literary world of 2003! Perfectly blending beautiful Eastern characters with mystical Western fantasy literature, the entire work exudes a mysterious atmosphere. It possesses the epic and legendary grandeur of The Lord of the Rings, interwoven with fragmented love amidst distant fantasies of holy wars. The fantasy comes from the heavens, light, romantic, unrestrained, leading you to open the mysterious door in your mind, allowing your imagination to soar freely. The spirit of thought roams in the boundless world, where every step reveals boundless scenery. Ji Cheng is mysterious. This mystery may not be the result of the author's deliberate pursuit. Yet, this mystery has always drawn us forward through the dense forest of words. Something in the chaos keeps teasing us, compelling us to continue our gaze. The atmosphere created by the novel makes us feel dizzy, as if we have left the ground and entered a strange world. This world is dusty and vast.
This is a peculiar book. On one side, there are the Fire Tribe and the Ice Tribe; on one side, the City of Flames and the Empire of Illusory Snow. The work belongs to pure fiction. The fabrication of the void is actually more difficult than the imitation of reality. Compared to the ability of fabrication, I believe the ability of imitation is merely a basic skill, while fabrication represents a higher level of ability—and it is the ability that distinguishes whether literature has reached a realm of brilliance. The reproachable aspect of Chinese literature lies in its stagnation in imitation over the years, failing to lead words into the realm of fabrication.
