To meet the teaching needs of higher vocational education and secondary specialized schools for foreign trade-related majors, and to help students understand and master the professional knowledge and practical skills required for the entire process of import and export commodity inspection, we organized professionals with certain research experience, practical experience, and rich teaching experience. Based on the joint training programs for inspection officers and quality inspection follow-up personnel organized by Nanjing Foreign Trade School, Nanjing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau Training Center, and the Commodity Inspection Department, we wrote this book, "Practicalities of Import and Export Commodity Inspection."
The book "Practicalities of Import and Export Commodity Inspection" is written in accordance with the "Import and Export Commodity Inspection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the latest policies, regulations, and standards of the national commodity inspection department. It focuses on the essential knowledge and skills that practical talents must master, especially with an emphasis on practical application, thereby well meeting the needs of teaching materials for foreign trade majors and commodity inspection majors in colleges and universities.
Following the needs of higher vocational education and considering the characteristics of college and secondary school students who will engage in practical work after graduation, the book strives to help students understand the basic concepts of import and export commodity inspection, as well as the policies and regulations of import and export commodity inspection. It enables students to understand and master the procedures and methods of import and export commodity inspection, and to grasp the inspection standards for major import and export commodities, enabling them to conduct preliminary inspections according to these standards.
The book is divided into eleven chapters, with rich content, easy-to-understand language, close ties to practice, and strong practicality. It can serve as a teaching material for relevant majors in higher vocational colleges and secondary specialized schools, as well as a professional training and reference book for personnel in foreign trade and economic enterprises, and as an elective book for students of related majors in universities.
