Features: The main readers of this book are candidates taking the National Adult Undergraduate Entrance Examination for English. It can also be used by first- and second-year students of non-English majors in universities, as well as readers with equivalent academic backgrounds. The "Outline" clearly specifies the overall requirements of the exam, as well as the abilities to be tested and the scope of knowledge to be mastered in each section—such as phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, cloze, reading comprehension, and translation. Based on the "Outline," the book introduces the requirements, question volume, and scoring for each section in the four main parts of phonetics, vocabulary, etc. Then, it systematically and concisely explains key knowledge points and exam strategies, enabling candidates to feel prepared before encountering actual exam questions and to engage in conscious and purposeful self-training. According to the difficulty level, question formats, and commentary provided in the sample questions of the "Outline," the authors have compiled a large number of practice exercises to allow candidates to practice and correct mistakes, as well as to think through and reinforce the knowledge they have learned. For the convenience of self-study, detailed solutions are provided for most questions for reference.
