Features: Chinese female figure painting, depicting mostly ancient costume beauties—even if they are real historical figures, their facial features and physique may not necessarily be attractive. Since beauty is desired, it must be a complete and exquisite beauty, not just in appearance, physique, clothing, utensils, and environment, but also in the invisible mind and emotions. Mr. Peng Lianxi is currently a member of the China Artists Association and a professor at Tianjin Fine Arts College. Starting in the late 1970s, he has published over a hundred works, including serial illustrations and New Year pictures. Since the 1990s, he has participated in national art exhibitions, the "Three Hundred Chinese Painters" exhibition, the 9th National Art Exhibition, and was nominated by the Ministry of Culture and the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association. He also participated in the "Light of the Century" national art exhibition and published works such as "Peng Lianxi's Heavy Color Works" and "Techniques of Ink and Brush Portraiture," among many other beloved works by the people.
