However, among these writings, there are scattered insightful observations from predecessors, offering valuable insights for studying the evolution of brushwork. Brushwork is one of the essential elements in calligraphic form. Everything related to artistic form is a historical product. Brushwork has evolved into its current form through long-term development. However, historical studies on brushwork have rarely been discussed, and they are often influenced by the limited writing experience of individuals. As a result, we have always lacked a true understanding of brushwork. Although the legend of brushwork being divinely bestowed is no longer believed, it still lingers in an undispelled atmosphere of mysticism.
