Features: The human models depicted in this book reflect the various poses used in human figure drawing training and teaching. A healthy, normal human society treats human beauty and human art in this way. However, it is different in China. Many people say that promoting human beauty and valuing human art is not in line with our national conditions. Indeed, this statement is not entirely wrong. But this proves that our "national conditions" are abnormal and unhealthy. Chairman Mao pointed this out incisively. In a letter to six Central Political Committee members, he wrote, "Nude models are essential for painting and sculpture. Without them, it is not possible. It is inappropriate to oppose them on ideological grounds." It is precisely the abnormal and unhealthy "feudal ideology" that has suppressed and destroyed the healthy human beauty and human art. Can this "national condition" still be upheld and inherited by the Chinese people who overthrew feudalism? The result should be clear, but the reasons for the hesitation and opposition of many comrades are also real. This is because in healthy human beauty and human art, there are often also abnormal and unhealthy elements, the so-called "yellow" poison. Therefore, our task is to promote normal and healthy aspects while opposing the yellow. The comrades at Jilin Fine Arts Publishing House are currently undertaking this arduous task. I hereby express my sincere respect and wish that this photographic art album can be published and released as soon as possible.
