Features: This book is a collection of essays on Western feminist theory. These selected essays present the new trends in Western feminist theory from different philosophical perspectives and disciplinary viewpoints, covering topics such as the politics of social organization, issues of race, ethnicity, and women, discussions on femininity, and research on sexuality. Building on an understanding of the importance of these perspectives to Western feminists, readers can reflect on how they might function in the context of China and consider how these perspectives can help us address new problems or redefine old ones in new ways.
