Features: Medical and Legal Studies was published in January 2003 and has nearly reached its fourth year since then. In these four years, China's medical legislation has made significant progress. To adapt to the new developments in China's medical and legal system, to promptly reflect the latest achievements in medical and legal research, and to continuously improve the content system of Medical and Legal Studies, the authors have revised the second edition. The second edition of Medical and Legal Studies largely maintains the scientific, systematic, and practical characteristics of the first edition, still dividing the content into three parts: fundamental theories of medical and legal studies, an introduction to current medical laws, and modern medical and legal issues. On this basis, the second edition of Medical and Legal Studies has adjusted the content and structural format of the first edition, primarily in the following aspects: 1. Enriched with new medical and legal regulations, such as the Administrative Licensing Law, the Emergency Response Regulations for Public Health Emergencies, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Regulations, the Medical Waste Management Regulations, and the Rural Practitioners Practice Management Regulations; 2. Adjusted and supplemented relevant content to meet the requirements of the health regulations section of the National Medical Practitioners Examination syllabus; 3. Added a chapter on "International Health Legal Systems"; 4. Added an "Appendix" chapter, including major medical and legal regulations, rules, and measures; a concise table of commonly used English-Chinese professional terms and phrases; 5. Each chapter includes "Research and Reflection."
