Publish Date: 2007-01-01
Features: Eight hundred years, an ancient village, dynasties rising and falling in southern Jiangxi. This once prosperous village gradually declined. The dust of time obscured its former elegance. The descendants of the Liang family remained steadfast in their homes, life remaining tranquil. That year, the author came to Meipu. He documented the people of Meipu and their lives through words, paintings, and images, while also exploring Meipu's history through literature and historical research. The visual perspective, cultural observation, and fieldwork approach together form a painter's record of the ancient village.
