Features: This book is a collaborative effort, with the contributing authors being my PhD and master's students. Based on collective discussions, I formulated the writing outline and finalized the manuscript. Hu Tiecheng assisted me in revising the preliminary draft and took charge of the coordination and organization. The book covers topics such as the challenges faced by local governments after joining the WTO, the impact of joining the WTO on different regions in China, establishing fair, efficient, and transparent local public power institutions, and reshaping the relationship between local governments and enterprises.
