Features: Sensor technology is a highly practical discipline. To enable students to master this course effectively, it is essential to integrate classroom theoretical instruction with experimental teaching. This experimental guidebook was compiled based on reader feedback and is designed to complement the textbook "Sensor Technology and Applications." The aim of this textbook is to help students, while studying the theoretical course "Sensor Technology and Applications," select and conduct experiments based on the resources available at their schools, thereby reinforcing classroom learning and cultivating hands-on practical skills. The textbook includes 42 experiments, covering resistive, capacitive, inductive, magneto, piezoelectric, thermoelectric, photovoltaic, fiber-optic, gas-sensitive, and humidity-sensitive sensors. It ensures that at least one experiment is provided for each type of sensor, such as commonly used resistive, inductive, Hall, piezoelectric, thermoelectric, photovoltaic, and fiber-optic sensors. For each of these sensor types, 3–10 experiments have been developed to allow students to choose from.
