Features: Picasso: The most creative and influential artist in contemporary Western art. People's evaluations of his life are diverse, with both praise and criticism. However, his works and his multifaceted exploration of art forms are universally recognized. It is for this reason that Picasso holds an immortal position in the history of world art. Due to his diligence, Picasso became a highly productive painter. After his death, it took five years to organize his works. Statistics show that his works include: 1,885 oil paintings, 7,089 sketches, 20,000 engravings, and 6,121 lithographs, totaling nearly 37,000 pieces. Throughout his life, Picasso went through several different periods. His early "Blue Period" and "Rose Period" styles bore the influence of Degas. Later, in 1909, he co-founded Cubism with the French painter Georges Braque, entering his "Black Period." This Cubist creative method had a significant impact on modern Western art. He was hailed as "one of the greatest masters of 20th-century art." In 1907, he created "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon," which incorporated elements of Eastern art and Spanish folk art, completely transforming traditional painting techniques and pursuing a "conceptual reality" that was more realistic than reality. In Picasso's paintings, people can strongly sense his love and hatred. He opposed war and longed for peace and tranquility. In April 1937, to protest Hitler's bombing of the northern Spanish city of Guernica, he painted the famous large mural "Guernica." To protest the U.S. invasion of Korea, he created the murals "War" and "Peace" in 1952. As for his "Peace Dove," it is even more familiar to the world. Picasso's life and art were inseparable from women. Many of Picasso's representative works are related to themes of women. Mainly including: "Three Dancers," "Woman Sleeping on a Red Chair," "Bathing Woman Playing with a Ball," "Rooster," and others. On April 8, 1973, this giant of European painting passed away in Mougins, southern France, with a desire for peace, and was laid to rest in a cemetery by the Mediterranean Sea.
