The development and changes in the macroeconomic situation have gradually exposed some issues. For example, there is a severe shortage of foreign trade sales personnel and management talents, and small and medium-sized enterprises face challenges such as how to conduct foreign trade independently, how to smoothly enter the international market, how new foreign trade professionals can carry out their work, and how to apply international trade theory to practical foreign trade operations. These are critical issues that urgently need to be addressed in the foreign trade industry.
Guangdong is one of the regions with the fastest economic growth in China, and foreign trade plays a pivotal role in its economic development. In recent years, the Guangdong Provincial Chamber of Commerce has found that many enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, although strongly desire to expand into the international market and have the opportunities and conditions to do so, are hindered by a lack of knowledge and practical experience in conducting international trade. As a result, the development of their foreign trade business is affected.
In light of this, the Guangdong Provincial Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Guangdong Economic Publishing House under Guangdong Publishing Group, has organized professionals to edit and publish the Foreign Trade Professionals' Business Guidance Series. Foreign trade is a highly practical field closely linked to the global economy. The Foreign Trade Professionals' Business Guidance Series aims to introduce valuable experiences and the latest trade practices from a professional perspective to foreign trade professionals, enabling newcomers to the industry to master the basic knowledge of foreign trade and become proficient in foreign trade operations in a relatively short time, thereby avoiding unnecessary detours.
It is hoped that the Foreign Trade Professionals' Business Guidance Series will provide assistance to business personnel and help them achieve success in expanding into the international market. At the same time, we look forward to enterprises sharing their good experiences with the authors to facilitate timely promotion and collectively contribute to the development of foreign trade in Guangdong.
