Features: The book presented to the readers is a collection of master's theses for industrial economics graduate students. The compilation of this book serves two purposes. It is indeed not an easy task to solidly catch up on the lessons during the short graduate study period. Moreover, writing theses is one of the important means to examine whether graduate students have mastered and built a solid foundation in industrial economics. The editors aim to motivate graduate students to study and master the theories of industrial economics by publishing this collection of master's theses. Secondly, they hope to play a supervisory role in the cultivation of master's students in economics. The evaluation of graduate student training performance mainly lies not in internal self-evaluation but in external evaluation. Through the theses of the students they teach, they accept evaluations from peers and the public. In this edition, a total of 11 papers were selected. These 11 papers were chosen by the editorial committee members through anonymous voting from the theses of graduate students in the 2003 and 2004 cohorts.
