Features: To strengthen the medical team of the People's Republic of China and improve the comprehensive quality of practicing physicians, our country has been implementing the "Practice of Medical Practitioners Law of the People's Republic of China" and conducting the National Medical Practitioners Examination since 1999. This has profound significance and great practical impact on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of physicians, standardizing the management system of physicians, improving the training system of physicians, and ensuring the overall level and development momentum of China's medical and health cause. Under the support of the National Medical Examination Center of the Ministry of Health, China Union Medical University Press has published the series "National Medical Practitioners Examination Preparation Guide" and "National Medical Practitioners Examination Practice Questions," which have been widely praised by a large number of examinees since their release. At the same time, in response to the strong calls from a large number of readers via letters and phone calls, our press has timely invited experts from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine to strictly compile the "National Medical Practitioners Examination TCM Practitioner Practice Questions" and "National Medical Practitioners Examination Assistant TCM Practitioner Practice Questions" according to the examination syllabus. In February 2006, the Medical Practitioners Examination Committee of the Ministry of Health released the newly revised "2006 National TCM Practitioners Examination Syllabus." This revision, under the principle of highlighting TCM, clinical practice, and basic knowledge, reasonably reduced some examination subjects. The examination scope for TCM Assistant Practitioners is: (1) Basic TCM subjects: TCM Basic Theory (including the content of TCM classic works), TCM Diagnostics, TCM Materia Medica, and TCM Formulas; (2) Clinical TCM subjects: TCM Internal Medicine, TCM Surgery, TCM Gynecology, TCM Pediatrics, and Acupuncture and Moxibustion; (3) TCM and Clinical Medical subjects: Basic Diagnostics, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Medical Ethics, and Health Regulations. Compared to the original examination syllabus, subjects such as human anatomy and physiology have been removed, while subjects like infectious diseases and medical ethics have been included in the examination scope.
