Features: After finishing the entire manuscript, I sighed deeply. After more than a year of hard work and toil, the exhausting journey has finally come to an end. What can I say? First and foremost, I would like to express my apologies. To be honest, with my knowledge and abilities, completing a topic that involves politics, economics, and culture is incredibly challenging. Therefore, although the manuscript is completed, there are far too many regrets and shortcomings. Regarding the various flaws in the book, I welcome readers to criticize them and hope for their understanding.
Secondly, the author would like to express gratitude to Professor Du Yanhua for allowing me to expand our co-authored article, "On the Transformation of China's Modernization Path," and use it as Chapter 2 of this book. The origin of this manuscript also stems from Professor Du Yanhua's mentorship, as we jointly participated in the project "China's Top Ten Development Topics" led by Professor Qin Shaode. It was during this writing process that the idea of drafting this manuscript emerged. I am naturally lazy, and without Professor Du's repeated urging, the completion of the manuscript might still be in some distant future.
