Cervical cancer remains the leading killer of women in developing countries, including China. The trend of younger onset ages for cervical cancer and CIN has attracted attention. However, due to China's national conditions, cervical cancer screening efforts are highly uneven, with coverage reaching less than 1%. Yet, it is worth noting that in the early 21st century, relevant Chinese authorities took a series of measures to plan for the control of cervical cancer, leading to significant attention being paid to its prevention and treatment.
