Features: This book provides a relatively detailed introduction to all bone and joint injuries in the body, primarily presenting imaging findings in the form of illustrations, supplemented by brief textual explanations. The book consists of 18 chapters, divided into 5 parts: General Principles, Upper Limb Bone Injuries, Lower Limb Bone Injuries, Trunk Bone Injuries, and Craniofacial Bone Injuries. There are a total of 1,945 illustrations, including 1,208 plain X-ray images, 349 CT images, 331 MRI images, and 57 line drawings. Each part of the book systematically introduces the concise anatomy, developmental variations, necessary examination methods, common fractures and dislocations, growth period injuries, and soft tissue injuries of that region. Additionally, it briefly describes the injury mechanisms, clinical features, imaging characteristics, and diagnostic precautions for bone and joint injuries. To facilitate reading, the book primarily uses imaging photographs and line drawings for explanations, with concise and precise text to highlight the features of the illustrations. Traditional X-ray examinations are highly important for diagnosing bone and joint injuries and can meet general clinical requirements, so the book primarily features plain X-ray images. For examinations of complex anatomical regions, CT cross-sectional images are included, including advanced two-dimensional and three-dimensional reconstruction images. However, X-ray examinations still have certain limitations for non-bone tissue injuries, so higher-resolution MRI images are provided for the examination of cartilage, ligaments, and soft tissue injuries. All images in this book are derived from advanced imaging techniques (such as DR, CR, multi-row CT, high-field MRI machines, etc.), with clear and well-structured images that are fully capable of achieving the goal of identifying diseases through images. This book is primarily intended for reference and use by orthopedic doctors, radiologists, and medical students in various hospitals.
