How to Use Medication for Chronic Gastritis and Insomnia

Patient's question:

I've been feeling a bit greasy in my mouth, like it's dry. I've also had persistent belching, and eating feels like choking. I've always been like this before. I had an endoscopy in the past, which showed superficial chronic gastritis. Recently, I've been feeling generally uncomfortable, wondering if it might be serious.

Doctor's answer:

(1) Upper abdominal pain can be treated with Belladonna tablets 8 mg (1 tablet), three times daily, or Atropine tablets 0.3 mg, three times daily; Domperidone tablets 0.5 mg, three times daily; Hericium erinaceus tablets 3 tablets, three times daily, taken orally.
(2) For elevated stomach acid, Aluminum hydroxide gel 10 mL can be given three times daily, taken orally.
(3) If the stomach acid is reduced, 0.5% dilute hydrochloric acid or pepsin mixture 10 mL can be administered three times daily, taken orally.
(4) Antibacterial treatment: Streptomycin tablets 0.5 g, two times daily, taken orally (an allergy test should be performed first); Gentamicin 40,000–80,000 units, two times daily, administered intramuscularly; Berberine tablets 0.3 g, three times daily, taken orally; Furazolidone 0.1 g, three times daily, taken orally; Tetracycline 0.5 g, three times daily, taken orally.
