Coronary angiography will not implant stents

Patient's question:

It is suspected to be coronary heart disease, so I had a coronary angiography test done. But my friend said that if the blockage reaches 50% or more during the coronary angiography test, a stent will be directly implanted. Is that true?
Could you please help me ask the doctor to clarify this for me? Thank you.

Doctor's answer:

Considering coronary heart disease, it is mainly caused by smoking, abnormal blood lipids, and age-related vascular aging, leading to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques and localized hardening. It is recommended to follow a low-salt, low-fat diet, avoid greasy foods, take aspirin to prevent thrombus formation, and undergo stent implantation if necessary. Additionally, patients should develop a regular lifestyle, adhere to treatment, maintain a light diet, and engage in aerobic exercise to boost their immunity and reduce the risk of illness.
