Patient's question:
Age: 30 I have moderate fatty liver. Currently, I don't have any symptoms. The doctor told me to exercise more. Additionally, what are the symptoms of severe fatty liver? There is a Grade A hospital, 163 Hospital, nearby, but I don't know how it is.Doctor's answer:
Severe fatty liver generally presents with symptoms such as: fatigue in the limbs, right shoulder and back pain with swelling, feeling suddenly very tired, dizziness, bitter taste in the mouth, dry mouth, bad breath, poor appetite, irritability, abdominal pain after meals, nausea, feeling full after eating a small amount, discomfort in the liver area, alternating constipation and diarrhea. Some people with severe fatty liver may have abnormal liver function tests, elevated transaminases, shortness of breath after climbing a few floors or walking a few steps, mild hyperbilirubinemia, increased bilirubinuria and urobilinogen, and an inverted albumin/globulin ratio. The symptoms of severe fatty liver are more pronounced, and patients may develop ascites and lower limb edema.
