Features: Women are naturally concerned with appearance. The more educated and sensible a woman is, the more she values physical attractiveness, because she believes that maximizing potential brings benefits: first and foremost personal self-esteem, and then others' attitudes. This isn't bad, and it doesn't mean that women are being manipulated by this gender; on the contrary, it shows that women can make the most of their strengths. The Body Bible is a recent masterpiece by the renowned British column writer Susie Goldsmith, hailed as the "Global Woman's Health Bible." Over the years, the author interviewed nearly 100 women from different nationalities, skin colors, and ages, providing a comprehensive analysis of the various issues women are concerned about regarding their bodies: from physiology and physical differences to history and cultural influences, aiming to explore women's past and look ahead to their future. The book explores the relationship between our emotions and physical states from a holistic perspective, pointing out the fact that we are often short on time and energy, yet our physical condition is not always optimal. It also explains the gradual changes in lifestyle, such as the benefits of proper diet and regular exercise for the skin, weight, bone density, and self-esteem—issues equally important to both 16-year-old girls and 65-year-old women. The content of the book is simplified as much as possible, avoiding claims that are unproven or easily debatable. Although our intentions are good, by the end of the day, how many women have the time or energy to gather 16 ingredients for a "Cornish Creamy Chicken Soup"? We hope the information about appearance provided in this book can help more people recognize the fact that whether one looks good or not has little to do with happiness or well-being, but poor appearance can undermine it.
