Su Wansheng was born in 1957 in Yexian, Shandong Province, and uses the pen name Ye Shi, with the title Wansheng Garden. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts Education at Harbin Normal University and is currently a member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Bird-and-Flower Painting Research Association, as well as the Vice President of the Harbin Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Carving Association and the National Painting Society. His representative works include Wansheng Garden Peach, Giant Black Carp, and Panpan. He has held solo and group exhibitions such as Su Wansheng's National Painting Practice Exhibition, Harbin Painter Su Wansheng's Bird-and-Flower Painting Exhibition, and Heilongjiang Painter Su Wansheng's Peach Blossom Exhibition in Harbin, Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong, and other places. His works have been displayed, published, and collected in museums, art galleries, and other institutions in Japan, South Korea, the United States, Singapore, as well as Taiwan and Hong Kong. His works have been reported by dozens of news outlets, including CCTV, Heilongjiang TV, People's Daily, Art News, Beijing Weekly, National Painter, and World of Chinese Painting. Harbin TV produced a television special titled Young National Painter Su Wansheng, and he has published Su Wansheng's Painting Album. His artistic achievements are listed in numerous domestic and international dictionaries, such as The Great Dictionary of Modern Chinese Artists and The World.
