Features: We dedicate this series, "Stories Every Chinese Child Should Read from Childhood," to children and their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Children all love to hear stories told by adults. Looking back at our childhood, the story of "Grandma Wolf" captivated us time and time again, accompanying our childhood. Time flies, and the seasons change. Now, we have become parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. So, what should we tell our children? Parents all hope their children become outstanding talents with well-rounded development in morals, intelligence, physique, aesthetics, and labor. There are many ways to achieve this, but undoubtedly, telling children healthy and positive stories from a young age is a very good method.
The Chinese nation has a splendid civilization spanning 5,000 years. The traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, such as loving the motherland, being filial to parents, respecting teachers, valuing unity and friendship, being diligent and studious, modest and polite, frugal and hardworking, self-reliant and strong-willed, and fearless of tyranny, are all qualities that our descendants should inherit and promote.
This series is based on this principle, carefully selecting representative stories from various aspects, integrating knowledge, fun, thoughtfulness, and accessibility. It aims to broadly broaden children's horizons, expand their knowledge, cultivate their minds, enhance their wisdom, inspire their creativity, and develop their abilities.
We have added Pinyin annotations throughout the book to help children read independently. This not only fosters their reading skills but also helps them develop good reading habits. At the same time, we hope it meets the needs of parents with different cultural backgrounds.
