Features: As is well known, the choice of language and development tools often affects the sales of operating systems and server software. The popularity of VB has played a significant role in Microsoft's success. And the significance of Java for the non-Microsoft camp is self-evident. In response to the fierce momentum of C#, Sun's countermeasure is the Rave (meaning roar, Sun's recent project codes are all aggressively named, such as MadHatter, translated as "Fury" by domestic media) plan, directly targeting VB, with the intention of "attacking the enemy's rear to save the front." In the tech world, one cannot live without reading tech magazines, especially in the ever-changing IT industry. Otherwise, it's equivalent to early inking the end of one's career. DDJ, CUJ, WDJ, SDM (note), like my old friends, I have been reading them for over 15 years—since I entered the field of computing. Therefore, I believe your magazine should focus on new technologies as the main theme, supplemented by articles on technical or management models that readers enjoy. Articles about languages should be reduced but not completely eliminated. This is the only way to capture our attention. In this issue, the language-related content, such as the excessive number of articles on C++, even for readers like me who are fond of C++, feels overwhelming.
