Features: The self-study textbook is primarily conducted under the guidance of the teacher for independent reading. Reading is a dialogue between the reader and the author. Students can break the limitations of time and space to communicate with authors from millennia ago or from distant places. This dialogue is an activity of cultural and spiritual transmission. The reading prompts after the text serve only as a guide or provide necessary background information to reduce reading barriers for students; or they highlight the most valuable and exciting parts of the text. Its purpose is to shorten the distance between students and the author, stimulate students' desire to engage in dialogue with the author, and help them find channels and ways to communicate with the author. Ultimately, students must read, appreciate, think, and communicate their souls with the author, making their own discoveries. The reading of the self-study textbook is independent reading, autonomous reading, and personalized reading.
Read the textbook yourself. Grade 8, second semester. Follow the birds to the ends of the earth.
