It is written and reviewed by professionals, providing an in-depth analysis of typical cases of anti-dumping and countervailing measures since the establishment of the WTO. It holds significant guidance value. The book also includes a dedicated chapter proposing revisions to China's relevant legislation, offering constructive insights. With rigorous logic and concise language, it serves as a highly practical learning resource. Anti-dumping and countervailing measures have become prominent issues in international trade today. On one hand, with the establishment and operation of the WTO, the level of trade liberalization has reached unprecedented heights. Overall, trade among nations has developed rapidly, and global trade volume has continuously increased. On the other hand, to protect domestic industries, countries have revised, improved, or formulated their own anti-dumping and countervailing legislation in accordance with the WTO's Anti-Dumping Agreement and Countervailing Agreement. These measures allow countries to conduct anti-dumping or countervailing investigations on imported goods that are dumped or subsidized abroad, subsequently imposing anti-dumping or countervailing duties. It can be predicted that the trade disputes involving dumping and anti-dumping, as well as subsidies and countervailing measures, will not only persist but also intensify. Precisely for this reason, to regulate the behavior of countries in anti-dumping and countervailing measures, the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) reached the Uruguay Round Agreement on Anti-Dumping and the Agreement on Countervailing Measures. In light of this, WTO member states that believe other members' anti-dumping and countervailing measures against their own industries violate WTO agreements may file complaints with the Dispute Settlement Body. This book focuses on discussing and introducing various aspects of anti-dumping and countervailing measures, including an overview of the basic circumstances of anti-dumping and countervailing disputes, an introduction to the WTO's Anti-Dumping Agreement and Countervailing Agreement, an analysis of typical cases, the legislative and practical status of China's anti-dumping and countervailing measures, as well as suggestions for revising and improving relevant provisions of China's anti-dumping legislation. Additionally, it includes relevant WTO provisions and agreements related to anti-dumping and countervailing measures.
