Patient's question:
My current symptoms: urethral pain without urination, intermittent pain in both testicles, more pain on the right testicle, damp testicles, frequent urination and urgency, always feeling like not urinating completely at the end of urination, and aching pain on the inner side of the right thigh.Doctor's answer:
The pain symptoms of chronic prostatitis are not well-defined in terms of localization. They can include dull lower abdominal pain, pain in the bilateral or unilateral inguinal region, as well as pain in the testicular and perineal areas. Therefore, discomfort in these areas may indicate chronic prostatitis, but other conditions must be ruled out, such as epididymitis or varicocele. Ultrasound and routine urine tests can generally help differentiate these conditions. Additionally, if these symptoms only occur occasionally, special treatment is usually not required. There was no prior detection of varicocele, so the current symptoms are unlikely to be caused by it. Moreover, mild varicocele generally does not require treatment.
