Features: This collection of papers includes a total of 222 submissions, comprising 53 on pig feed and nutrition, 73 on poultry feed and nutrition, 40 on ruminant feed and nutrition, 13 on aquatic animal feed and nutrition, and 43 on basic research. It covers nearly all fields of animal nutrition and feed science that have been a focus in China in recent years, reflecting the research achievements in these areas. In addition to traditional animal nutrition research, there has been a significant increase in reports on molecular nutrition compared to previous years. Institutions with more than 15 submissions include South China Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Northeast Agricultural University, the Animal Science Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Central China Agricultural University, among others. During the editing and publishing process, this collection has received strong support and assistance from peer experts, particularly from the leadership of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. We express our heartfelt gratitude for this support. In the editing process, some papers have been supplemented and formatted. Although every effort has been made to carefully review and correct the content of each paper, the scientific and writing quality of the abstracts varies. Moreover, many submissions were concentrated in August, and many papers exceeded the notified deadline, making the process extremely time-sensitive. Additionally, due to the limitations of the editors' expertise, errors and omissions are inevitable in this collection. We sincerely welcome your criticism and suggestions.
