I had circumcised before. A couple of years ago, I noticed that the frenulum was very irregular.

Patient's question:

I had circumcised in the past. About one or two years ago, I noticed that the frenulum was very irregular, with some pinkish granulations. There were also some hard substances about one or two millimeters in size under the frenulum's subcutaneous tissue. Usually, there's no sensation, but when I press the hard substances with my fingers, I feel a stinging pain. A few times, I accidentally removed some of them, which were oval-shaped, yellowish-brown, and had a musty smell. What could this be?

Doctor's answer:

Description: The presence of granulations in this area of the genital band may be caused by pseudowarts. It is a group of skin and mucous membrane lesions that can be confused with genital warts. It is usually caused by inflammatory stimulation leading to hyperplasia and is not contagious.
