Features: I was commissioned by Huaxia Publishing House to compile an anthology of 20th-century prose, and thus had the privilege of intermittently browsing a vast number of prose works over the past century during two winters and summers. It is difficult to express my two years of feelings in just a few sentences; it is as if I have repeatedly stood on steep, sword-like mountain cliffs and flat, arrow-like embankments, overlooking the scenery of the Yangtze River.
