If we ask ourselves the question: Do you know your abilities? To find the right answer, you might need to think deeply. Although everyone may ask themselves more than once, "What am I really? How are my abilities? If I fully master my strength and my entire potential, what could I achieve?" few people can fully recognize their potential. Potential is the unrealized psychological ability that exists in everyone, relative to their actual abilities. In fact, everyone has infinite potential. Some compare potential to an iceberg standing in the vast ocean, with the part above water representing the potential that has already been realized, and the part below water representing the potential yet to be developed. Others liken it to an undeveloped gold mine, which holds immense reserves and great value. One day, when scientific development allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the brain's structure and function, humans will be shocked by the potential stored within the brain.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of effective training, the ability to become a genius remains untapped in us. Most of us are not destined to be unable to become an Einstein-like figure. In reality, no matter what career we pursue, we have the potential to become geniuses in our own fields and to fully realize our potential. A person's latent intelligence, because it has not yet been revealed or demonstrated, is often not only difficult for others to recognize, acknowledge, or value, but even for oneself to understand. As a result, it can easily be buried with slight neglect. It is not only buried by others but also by oneself, and the latter is even more likely.
Have you heard the fable of an eagle that believes it is a chicken? Due to an extremely factor, an eagle egg and a chicken egg were mixed together, and a hen was left to hatch them. Among the chicks hatched, there was a little eagle. The little eagle grew up with the chicks, so it didn’t know that it could be something other than a chicken. At first, it was content, living a life like the other chickens. But as it grew older, it felt a strange sense of unease. It kept wondering, "Am I destined to be a chicken? I must be more than just a chicken!" However, the quiet life made it believe that it was indeed a chicken, just with a different appearance, so it never took any action.
One day, an old eagle soared above the chicken coop. The little eagle felt a strange new strength in its wings and noticed its chest pounding fiercely. Looking up at the old eagle, an idea occurred to it: "The chicken coop is not where I belong. I want to soar to the sky and perch on the mountain peaks." It had never flown before, but deep inside, it had the strength and instinct. It spread its wings and flew to the top of a nearby hill. Overwhelmed with excitement, it soared even higher, eventually reaching the peak of a mountain and discovering its great self.
Don’t just think of this as a good fable. Don’t think that you can’t become a soaring eagle. Don’t think that you are just
