Features: The connection between the individualistic tendency in psychology and the natural science orientation of psychology is very clear. Natural science takes natural phenomena—the material world—as its research object. The material world is different from the psychological and spiritual worlds of humans. The material world has the characteristic of stability, and natural phenomena do not change with the evolution of social culture or the attitudes of researchers. Lightning is lightning; regardless of society, era, or the researcher, the nature of lightning will not change. However, psychological phenomena are different. By studying isomorphism and homomorphism models of the brain, the essence of cognitive processes is revealed.
