Features: Harmony has become the main theme of contemporary social development. In today's increasingly competitive environment, advocating harmony undoubtedly holds significant practical importance. The history of humanity is a continuous process of renewal and transformation; the existence of an excellent enterprise is even more the result of constantly overcoming opponents and oneself, innovating and developing, and enhancing competitiveness. Only by being good at and daring to innovate and continuously improving competitiveness can an enterprise win the market and achieve success. This process must be based on corporate harmony, and therefore, corporate harmony is the source of an enterprise's competitiveness. Corporate harmony is the combined force generated by internal and external harmony within an enterprise. It is a positive force that promotes the comprehensive progress of the enterprise and, through this force, stimulates corporate vitality, mobilizes all positive factors to form a greater, and thus brings about more efficient development. Corporate harmony has three levels of meaning: internal harmony within the enterprise, harmony between the enterprise and its external stakeholders, and harmony between the enterprise and its external environment. Internal harmony is the foundation and most important part of corporate harmony. To achieve internal harmony, efforts must be made in building corporate culture, ensuring employee benefits, and resolving internal conflicts, creating a harmonious environment for employees, enhancing corporate harmony, and ultimately improving corporate competitiveness. This requires managers to adopt a coordination mindset, focusing on coordinating relationships between departments within and among the enterprise, including organizational structure, production implementation processes, interest distribution, and human resource allocation, to achieve balance in all aspects; guiding corporate members to adopt a holistic coordination mindset, ensuring that individual behaviors align with corporate goals. In a word, internal harmony is the force of the enterprise adopting a humanistic management philosophy, maximizing respect for employees' individual needs, and fostering employee satisfaction. It is the key force for corporate development and the source of corporate competitiveness. World-renowned companies like Walmart regard internal harmony as the fundamental force for their survival. They believe, "Every employee is like a brick on the wall. Each brick may be strong on its own, but to make these bricks bond into a powerful wall, an indispensable element is mortar—the harmonious force formed by team spirit." Harmony between the enterprise and its external stakeholders refers to the harmonious relationships between the enterprise and those with economic ties, including suppliers, manufacturers, and other groups involved in equipment supply, etc. Only by influencing the behavior of these stakeholders and maintaining long-term cooperative relationships can an enterprise enhance its competitiveness. Poorly managed relationships will directly affect the realization of the enterprise's economic interests. Only through long-term harmonious coexistence in the external system environment, forming a system of co-conspiracy, coexistence, and win-win, and establishing long-term stable trust and cooperation mechanisms among members, can the enterprise ensure the continuous and stable realization of its interests. To gain this force, the main means for the enterprise is to proactively assume social responsibilities, including balancing the interests of stakeholders, aligning with social development, harmonious coexistence and win-win, which is also the best way for the enterprise to win customers and cultivate customer loyalty. Harmony between the enterprise and its external environment refers to the harmony between the enterprise and its geographical, economic, political, and cultural environments. In this environment, the enterprise needs to maintain synchronization with the external environment, observing and studying external environmental changes and continuously modifying and making decisions based on the environment to better adapt to its influence and the market's development and application. External environmental harmony is a long-term strategic issue for the enterprise, and this harmonious force is also a key force for corporate success, equally determining the enterprise's sustainable development. The combination of these three harmonious forces in the process of corporate development forms the productivity of the enterprise and constitutes the driving system of its development. Corporate harmony is the source of corporate competitiveness. Only by possessing harmonious force can an enterprise cultivate loyal customers, enhance the cohesion and combat effectiveness of its brand; only by possessing harmonious force can it eliminate conflicts and contradictions between the enterprise and its suppliers and distributors at all levels, achieving the common development of the entire industrial chain; only by possessing harmonious force can it fully mobilize employees' initiative and creativity, thereby optimizing internal performance. Harmony is the source of corporate competitiveness. Enterprises without harmony will inevitably encounter development bottlenecks due to excessive competition. As British scholar Professor John Keay said, "The core factor of a successful company should transcend the sole purpose of making money. It is this factor that inspires employee loyalty, gives the enterprise the passion for creation and innovation, and ultimately enables the enterprise to achieve successful business operations. Understanding the meaning of 'making money the right way' is the prerequisite for maintaining sustainable economic development." When building harmonious force, enterprises must adhere to three principles: the principle of full participation, the principle of positive interaction, and the principle of harmonious innovation. Therefore, managers must establish concepts and values widely recognized by all, improve and resolve various conflicts in the labor process, work together in harmony, and coordinate actions, which is necessary for the sustainable and healthy development of the enterprise. Additionally, they must guide employees to recognize harmonious enterprises, create a harmonious management atmosphere, achieve the goals of harmonious management, and ultimately focus on improving corporate competitiveness. Of course, the ultimate goal of enterprises is to improve economic benefits and employee living standards, which is also the unremitting pursuit of every manager. To achieve this goal, the first step is to implement a scientific development concept, focusing on coordinated development in all aspects of the enterprise, and building a harmonious enterprise. Promoting benefits through harmony and promoting harmony through benefits will guide the enterprise along a path of virtuous circles. Simply pursuing benefits without focusing on the construction of harmonious enterprises is a short-term behavior for the enterprise. Practice has proven that harmony is the foundation of benefits, and benefits are the guarantee of harmony. The two are mutually causal and mutually promoting. Only by grasping both benefits and harmony can harmony and benefits develop in sync, and corporate competitiveness can be improved. This book proposes new concepts and operational methods from multiple perspectives on building corporate harmony and constructing harmonious enterprises, offering a fresh approach for managers to enhance corporate competitiveness. It is believed that as long as managers establish a harmonious concept and use it to guide corporate development, they will be able to perfect corporate structures, establish broad harmonious relationships, rapidly improve corporate competitiveness, and lead the enterprise on a path of sustainable and healthy development.
