Features: The term "80s people" refers to a simple categorization of those born in the 1980s. They were born in that decade and are in a unique period of youth, with their own ways of thinking and codes of conduct. The 80s people are a generation that matures amidst change and is truly a generation of rupture. Their life seems better than ours, and they feel good about themselves because their way of living is casual, open, indifferent, and even playful and upward-looking. All the authors in these two books are 80s people. There are high-achieving students from prestigious universities like Peking University and Fudan University; winners of the New Concept Composition Competition; best-selling authors with far-reaching influence; students who have studied abroad; and also writers who are not yet famous but are absolutely talented. In short, they are representatives of various aspects of today's 80s people and pioneers in the exploration of writing. Their common feature is that all the articles reflect their own lives as 80s people. Through their own words, I faintly sense the sound of a storm behind the symbols of language. This has nothing to do with the hype of various media, but rather the voice of true inheritance and rupture between generations. This rupture is resolute.
