Features: When I learned that the Chinese Writers' Association had held China's first advanced study program for middle-aged and young writers at the Lu Xun Academy, especially that the participants were outstanding talents with promising futures from various provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, I was genuinely delighted for this joyous occasion in the Chinese literary world, and at the same time, I was moved and inspired, giving me a strong desire to contribute to the mass literature publishing group. This collection includes seven of my middle-grade novels. Among them: Sunlight Like Smoke was published in Harvest in 2002. October Lilac was published in Shanghai Literature in 1998 and later included in the Contemporary Chinese Ethics Series. The Tune of Ningyang was published in Special Zone Literature at the end of 2001, was by The Anthology of Middle-Grade Novels, and was included in Selected Middle-Grade Novels of China in 2001, compiled by the Chinese Writers' Association.
