Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee decided to introduce a national unified examination on comprehensive academic level for applicants with equivalent academic standing. Since September 1, 1999, applicants for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing must obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level" in the relevant discipline, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the master's degree. The purpose of the comprehensive academic level examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the conferment of master's degrees to applicants with equivalent academic standing, and it is an important part of the national assessment of the professional knowledge structure and level of applicants for master's degrees. In 1999, we organized experts to write and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level for Applicants with Equivalent Academic Standing in Philosophy." Over the past five years, based on the suggestions of a large number of candidates and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of the unified examination. This book serves as a reference for universities and colleges to conduct teaching and tutoring, and can also be used as a study guide for candidates preparing for the examination.
