Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic qualifications and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Commission decided to introduce a national unified examination on comprehensive academic level for applicants with equivalent academic qualifications. Since September 1, 1999, individuals applying for master's degrees with equivalent academic qualifications must obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level" in the relevant discipline, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the master's degree. The purpose of the comprehensive academic level examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the state's conferment of master's degrees to applicants with equivalent academic qualifications, and it is an important part of the national examination organized to assess the professional knowledge structure and level of applicants for master's degrees with equivalent academic qualifications. In 1998, experts were organized to compile and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level for Applicants with Equivalent Academic Qualifications in the Discipline of Education." Over the past five years, based on suggestions from a large number of candidates and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of the unified examination. The revised outline (Second Edition) will serve as the basis for the unified examination questions for applicants with equivalent academic qualifications for the coming years, providing reference for universities and colleges in related teaching and tutoring, as well as serving as a reference material for candidates in their review and preparation for the examination.
