Features: To objectively test the German language proficiency of individuals with equivalent academic qualifications and ensure the quality of degree conferment, in accordance with the "Regulations of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council on Granting Master's and Doctoral Degrees to Individuals with Equivalent Academic Qualifications" (adopted at the 16th meeting of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council on June 18, 1998) and the spirit and requirements of the "Notice of the Office of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council on the Unified Examination for Foreign Language Proficiency of Working Personnel Applying for Master's Degrees with Equivalent Academic Qualifications" issued in 1994, starting from September 1, 1995, individuals applying for master's degrees with equivalent academic qualifications must obtain the corresponding "National Unified Examination Certificate for Foreign Language Proficiency" to become a prerequisite for obtaining their master's degree. The Foreign Language Proficiency Examination aims to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the grant of master's degrees to individuals with equivalent academic qualifications, and is an important step in the national examination for assessing the foreign language proficiency of applicants for master's degrees with equivalent academic qualifications. In 1998, we organized relevant experts to compile and publish the "National Unified Examination Syllabus for German Language Proficiency of Individuals with Equivalent Academic Qualifications for Master's Degree Applications." Based on the experience of the pilot program, we organized experts to revise it twice in 1999 and 2003, resulting in the third edition issued in 2003. Over the past two years, based on the suggestions of a large number of examinees and relevant experts, and summarizing the experience of the unified examination, we have organized experts from relevant fields to revise this book for the third time. The revised syllabus (fourth edition) will serve as the basis for the unified examination questions for the German language proficiency of individuals with equivalent academic qualifications applying for master's degrees in the coming years, and will also serve as a reference for universities and colleges in related teaching and tutoring, as well as a reference material for examinees in their review and preparation.
